DRAFT EIR FOR THE BAYVIEW HUNTERS POINT
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS AND REZONING
The San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (SFRA) and the San Francisco Planning Department have jointly prepared the draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR). All of you should demand to have a DEIR and you can do that by calling (415) 749-2400 ask for Jose Campos and Stanley Muraoka. It is important to mention case number 196.546E to prevent the bureaucrats from ignoring you.
The proposed project consists of 3 redevelopment plan amendments to the existing Hunters Point, Indian Basin Industrial Park and Bayview Industrial Triangle Redevelopment plan. These areas will all undergo drastic rezoning of the land in the Bayview Hunters Point area.
The Project Area is in the southeast quadrant and is bound by Cesar Chavez to the north, US Highway 101 to the west, San Mateo County to the south and the San Francisco Bay to the east. The Project Area is comprised of over 2,530 acres and approximately 9,000 parcels. The proposed project will add 1,721 acres of the Project Area to the existing Hunters Point Redevelopment Project Area.
Two individuals who have been working for the SFRA have done great disservice to our community. Call them at 415-749-2577 and ask for Stan Muraoka and Gaynell Armstrong at 415-749-2593. Direct all your question to them before it is too late. The Bayview Hunters Point will be undergoing drastic changes and if you care now is the time to act. These individuals do not have the welfare of the community at heart - all they think is about the money they make at taxpayers expense. Especially Gaynell Armstrong she is Black but she is a sell out. She has worked hard to help Lennar BVHP LLC, put on dog and pony shows and deceived the community at large.
