WE SAY CLEAN UP THE ENTIRE SHIPYARD TO RESIDENTIAL STANDARDS (7/12/08)

The Hunters Point Naval Shipyard is not an issue that is foreign to me. I have studied it in a general way since 1980 and in depth since 1980. Working at the Presidio of San Francisco - I was privy to sensitive information and know that the activities performed by the United States Navy from 1945 to 1965 especially have adversely impacted the whole Hunters Point Naval Shipyard.

When we speak of depleted uranium, the National Radiological Defense Laboratory (NRDL), other dubious activities all involved with Radiological Elements - we must stop fooling ourselves - and the community will never, ever agree on a single capping system. A few inches of clay and some dirt, covering the dirty hot spots that have polluted the Shipyard - and adversely impacted so many, workers and others, living in and around the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard.

At a recent Public Hearing, held July 8, 2008 - the United States Navy keeps on suggesting a model that favors capping. We, the community who know say - clean up the entire Shipyard to Residential Standards. That surely applies to Parcel B that is now being considered for the Record of Decision and then speedily moved forward for some drab Remedial Design and Remedial Fake Abatement. Time will tell. We have heard in past years too many jerks speak with fork tongues.

The Unites States must not fall for and be pressured by the Politicians and the Regulatory Agencies that take their orders from the very corrupt Politicians. In this case the leading politician - one Senator Diane Feinstein.

The Muwekma Ohlone Tribe exercised their Right of First Refusal and now reminds the authorities to clean up the entire Shipyard to Residential Standards. Also, that the Muwekma Tribe is very concerned about the Water Shed and the abatement and mitigation of the entire Watershed all over the Shipyard and beyond if adversely affected by the United States Navy.

Politicians have done all in their power to divide the Bayview Hunters Point community. The few that were present at the meeting - were not thoroughly informed about the seriousness of the adverse impacts from the long years of Radiological Experiments, the toxic spills, the many other toxic hot spots- heavy metals like mercury and of course the ever, communicating methane gas. All this found on the 56 acres that is Parcel B.

The Pacific Heights Mafia has vested interests at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard. Have spent large amount of money buying mostly rogue Black Pastors and other Black sell outs that have harmed the community at large in the Bayview Hunters Point area and beyond. Lennar who is bankrupt is poised to use the Land Banking Model to take over the land and divide it to others. Fill the coffers of the corrupt politicians and this included Mayor Gavin Newsom and Congressperson Nancy Pelosi. Other scum bags that will go unmentioned for now but we will reveal their names and details when the need arises.

The City and County of San Francisco has with intent not provided opportunities to the Bayview Hunters Point constituents since the early 1980s. The Hunters Point Naval Shipyard closed in 1974. Prior to that it employed as many as 10,000 employees many of them lived in zip codes 94124, 94107, and 94134.

The community demands again that Parcel B be clean to residential standards. This was mandated by Proposition P in the year 2000. Eighty seven percent of the constituents of San Francisco - voted for Proposition P and the clean up of the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard to Residential Standards.

I am posting some photographs to remind the readers of some of the activities conducted at the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard and surrounding areas. Some of the photographs are sensitive in nature.
